Our Reviews

Why Audiology With a Heart?

  • We're a nonprofit organization. We don’t focus on sales; our priority is focused on our patient’s well-being.
  • We live up to our name. We genuinely love helping people. Our patients often comment on how caring and courteous we are. We will do everything we can to find a solution for every patient because we're here to make a difference.
  • We don't pressure you into buying hearing aids. You don't ever have to worry about us trying to push a sale. We are focused on your hearing health and what’s best for you.
  • We understand budget limitations and offer affordable hearing aids. Hearing aid manufacturers give us discounts that we're able to pass along directly to you. Everyone deserves better hearing so contact us for more information about our Pay-It-Forward and Piggybank programs.
  • We take the time to personalize your hearing healthcare. Every person has different needs, and we get to know you so we can give you the most effective and personalized solutions possible.
  • We can help you receive a free amplified telephone from the State of Florida. As a nonprofit organization, we're qualified to work with the State of Florida to help people like you get a free phone so you can stay connected to the world around you.
  • We are always available via email or phone. If you ever need to call us for a reminder on how to take care of your hearing aids, or you need to schedule an appointment, you're welcome to reach out to us. We are here to help and answer any questions you may have.
  • We empower you to make decisions about your own hearing health. It isn't our place to tell you what to do; only you can decide what's right for you. Our job is to help you be informed so you can feel comfortable with the hearing solution you choose.

If you've had a bad experience with audiologists or hearing instrument specialists in the past, give us the chance to make it right. You can read what our current patients have to say about us in their own words.

Your First Hearing Appointment

  • Our office is comfortable and inviting. Your time is important and valuable, so we make a point of sticking to our schedules, meaning you’ll never have to wait for us.
  • When you arrive, we'll welcome you and bring you back for your appointment. The first part of every visit is spent chatting with you about your hearing and any changes you've noticed. We want to understand what brought you to see us and how you feel about your hearing loss.
  • Next, we give you a thorough hearing test. There's nothing to worry about — the test is easy and painless and will give us a clear understanding about your hearing loss. Then we'll sit down with you to discuss your results. We'll also talk about what might be a good solution for you based on your hearing loss and needs.
  • Hearing aids aren't for everyone, but if your test results show you could benefit from hearing aids, we'll make a recommendation specifically for you. We follow your lead on how to move forward. If you're not ready for hearing aids, we won't try to sell them to you. Instead, we'll just plan to check in later and see how you're doing. But if you do want to purchase hearing aids, we'll order them for you right away.
  • Once we fit you with your new hearing aids, you have a 60-day risk-free trial period to determine if they work for you. We usually will see you a week into the trial period to make any necessary adjustments, and keep in touch in case anything comes up. If you find that you don't like your hearing aids within the trial period, we will give you a chance to try something else instead.
